My name is paul, and I am a web designer and front end developer

I have put together a small collection of the work that I've done over the years. I've had the opportunity, in this time, to work on everything from my own PHP CMS system to 3D animation, as well as designing and building the current Yell.com mapping solution. I'm very passionate about the web and new technologies and I am constantly looking for new ways to expand my skillset. I'm always looking for a new challenge.

I have been working as a web designer for 7 years

After graduating from Portsmouth University I worked for four years in a design agency environment before making the move to work for Yell.com to gain experience working with large companies. I have been working for Yell.com for the last three years. Over the years I've developed skills in both design and development, making use of many different programming languages.

I've studied both pure computing and media courses prior to working with the web and feel this has given me a strong foundation in both design and development. I always strive to be strong in both areas as it allows me to produce a more integrated end product whether I am working in a team or on my own. More recently I have been specialising more in my Javascript development skills as well as looking into information architecture.

When I can pull myself away from the computer I enjoy hill walking, cycling and tennis. The rest of the time im watching anime or reading manga.
